In honor of José Parlá’s monumental sculptural installation on The Standard, High Line’s plaza, Parlá and The Standard present this special edition of 250 cashmere scarves.
Produced by the Scottish mill Begg and Co, makers of some of the world’s finest cashmere pieces since 1866, each lightweight scarf is 70 x 200cm and comes in a box designed by the artist.

Known for his large-scale abstract paintings, José Parlá has emerged as one of the most innovative painters of his generation, having spent decades establishing a unique style that transmutes the language of cities worldwide. Parlá’s public art installations in New York City include site-specific murals at One World Trade Center, the Barclays Center and the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s BAM Fisher building.
